Cities Most Likely to See New Business Growth

Boston, San Francisco, Denver, Raleigh-Durham, and Austin are places most likely to experience growth in new businesses, according to research conducted by Finch Brands. Their research looked at economic diversity, entrepreneurship, sensibility, larger employers and the area’s infrastructure.

The research also looked at qualitative measures. The metro area’s size had to have a population of at least 1.5 million, have enough small businesses (i.e., 30,000) to be considered a small business hub, and have positive projected job growth.
